Q: Do our players get paid?
A: No our players do not receive monetary compensation. We are a developmental organization for athletes and young men to better their skills in a professional football environment. They will receive professional level coaching and training and quality game film that is respected by all levels of professional football as their compensation.
Q: How do I make the team?
A: Our organization prides ourselves in our ability to recruit some of the top available athletes in our area. We have a full blown scouting department as well as player development department that looks for potential players year round. We also hold open tryouts that are for anyone above the age of 18. The open tryouts are a fair opportunity to anyone who is aspiring to play for our organization as our entire coaching staff and executive team are required to be in attendance.
Q: When does season start?
A: The DFI is a Fall league meaning that we play between the months of August to possibly November. This can possibly be extended with post season play.
Q: Are there team fees to play for the organization?
A: No there are no team fees associated with playing for the organization. Every player that is on the roster will be hand picked and recruited by our executive office. Players will have to provide their own football equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, leg pads, cleats, etc.)
Q: Do our players have the opportunity to advance to paid professional football?
A: Absolutely! That is one of our main goals as an organization is to get our deserving athletes the best opportunity to showcase their skills in hopes of attracting professional scouts and personnel. We aim to be a feeder organization into all paid leagues NFL, CFL, XFL, Arena/Indoor, Overseas.
